Project Overview

The existing community of Apollo Park is one of tradition - one of the few remaining outposts of approachability in Vail, is has maintained its welcoming spirit across generations of guests and residences. To transition into a destination that can continue to be enjoyed for years to come, this project explores hot the site can be improved. Understanding this unique property and its connection to the surrounding mountains, a new year-round resort is envisioned adjacent to the existing residents with opportunities for new shared amenities, unit features, and necessary site upgrades. The Vail lifestyle should be amplified at the future Apollo Park community, designed contextually with an emphasis on authentic mountain experiences.

A successful redevelopment of the site would include considerations for full and seasonal residences, urban conveniences with a maintained focus on the outdoors, and distinct and updated product types that have flexibility for generational use. This conceptual project explores high-end residential opportunities with affordable units incorporated, located near Vail Village center.
