Project Overview
Chamonix is a new development sponsored by the town of Vail to provide attainable housing sold well below market value within the highly desirable mountain resort setting. The town subsidized all land and infrastructure costs and brought in 359 Design to develop a product that offers high living standards while keeping costs low.
359 developed these 32 units using system built methodologies. These town homes were divided into modular "boxes" which were completely fabricated in Idaho, shipped to the site, installed on unique foundation and base conditions, and stitched and skinned together into the finished product.
The 32 units are comprised of 5 different unit types, offering a variety of living options.
