Project Overview
The Ray Hotel is a re-development of an existing 45 room hotel on the historic Pacific Coast Highway in Encinitas CA. Through the Charrette planning process the vision of the design and re-newed identity was born. By eliminating the pass-thru traffic with the placement of a center pool terrace, we were able to convert the current roadside motel feel into a full service, plan-in-action modern hotel.
At arrival, guest will be greeted by valet hosts who will check them in and escort them through the hotel’s lobby lounge and to their remodeled room. Hospitality features like a communal kitchen, roof deck and sunken conversation pit room will allow the hotel’s guest and their friends and experience unlike anything in LA, Orange and San Diego County.
Embracing the present culture and forecasting the future market of this community feature is a shared goal of our clients and ourselves. Our team is currently administering the Coastal Development Permit process while concurrently coordinating the construction permits with all consultants. Construction is scheduled for late 2016.
