Project Overview

Heritage Retreat is conceptualized to be a new retreat center, just outside of Whitefish, Montana, in the rolling alpine hills adjacent to the Flathead National Forest. The 40-acre parcel, previously a private family ranch, is reimagined into a spiritual escape for young adults and families. Providing attendees an organic environment to reconnect to their faith and build life long, faith-based relationships while enjoying the natural beauty and wild surrounding of the Montana high country.

Design goals for this project include connection to nature, indoor/outdoor lounge connectivity, identifiable character and brand, and a central lodge. The exploration also boosts resort like accommodations in various forms and areas, as well as a synagogue for large and small groups.
